THE LIGHT WE CARRY

Picture this: Have you ever been in a situation where the light (electricity) suddenly goes off and everyone is plunged into darkness? In that moment, anyone with any means or source of light, even if it is a lighted matchstick or something as dim as the torchlight on a small Itel phone, would be very appreciated, right?

Light, symbolically has been used to portray knowledge, enlightenment, hope, idea, goodness amidst others. It stands for illumination, truth and guidance. Even when the world was to be made, the first thing God created was light, thus, we know light is good and very essential.

The truth is, we all have light within us, we carry light and even the bible confirmed it that, “we are the light of the world”. It is the various light we carry as humans that shines and illuminates the world, showing us its beauty and potentials. You matter, and the light you carry matters, no matter how dim you may think it is.

Our light feeds others, because it takes a lighted candle to light another and that’s the beauty or the whole essence of embodying light. Don’t just shine your light, ignite others as well and spread the light, thus the light keeps burning. There’s nothing so honorable as helping to improve the life of others.

No one lights up just for himself, but those around him become beneficiaries too. The sun does not shine for itself but for the world, and so do we.

You are a star in the universe, with your own unique light, your work is to discover who you are, uncover your gift, talents and passion; nurture it and with the whole of your heart shine that light, that knowledge, that truth, to spread hope and illuminate the world.

The world needs the light you give, the hope you bring and the shine you bring. Let your light shine. Be a source of strength and courage. Share your wisdom. Radiate love.

I hope this post blesses you to see the light in you and inspires you to shine more brightly, as we, together, impact our world positively.

I’m living in the truth of my light, which is the essence of my being, and deeply rooted in Christ Jesus. This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine. Would you do the same?

Shine your shine!
